I have an 03 rx1 with dalton dypr 58g weights with 3 grams added to them dalton red primary and I have a dalton 52r46 helix with a dalton red spring wrapped at 70deg. My engament is 4500rpm at shift out is around 10500. Running constantly at 90mph + my secondary gets hot. So hot sometimes it causing slipping on initial engagement after a high speed run. Should I wrap the spring to 80 deg or is there another solution to my problem?

Do you have a silver spring....it would work better

I think I found the problem my sliding sheave on my secondary is very sloppy 0.016" clearance not sure what its suppose to but I think that would cause the secondary to not have uniform grip on the belt
