The 04's typically rev a lot higher than the 03's when loosened up. Most of the 03's topped out at 9900. That being said, 800 miles should be fairly loose, I wouldn't expect to get much more out of it in terms of rpm - mph maybe 1 or 2.

I'm not too concerned on what my top RPM's are but rather how quickly it gets there when I want it there. Currently when I mash the throttle the R's jump to about 9,200 and slowly rise to 10,100-10,200. That is the area I want to improve. I like the cruising RPM's but want it at peak quicker. Any suggestions? Remember, I like the clutching for the most part, I just want it to REV Higher quicker when I fully mash the throttle. A few have suggested simply removing the rivet in the heel, some have suggested installing a Mountains primary spring and many have recommended simply throwing away the stock weights. Like I said, for the most part I like the stock clutching.
Remove the 1st (inner)rivet entirely. The stock clutching ain,t bad when running at the right rpm,s. It surprised me!!!

The Stage II supertune kits come out at 10-10100 and finish at 10300-10400 with the ECP Filters. We have clutched to 10700 and did not find any gains over 10400 so we opted to tune to the lower RPM for the reasons Dukester mentions...BBY
