I have a 06 Apex ER with 4000 miles on it. I was going to buy some new clutch springs. When I went to my dealer web site, There were like 10 choices for both clutches. What color springs should I buy for the primary and secondary. I would like faster back shifts at least.

Look under the drive-train for your year/model (if your clutching is all stock) and it should give you what ya need. Go to Port Yamaha"s web site an go to OEM parts, then snowmobile's,year, model then look for yor driv-line pages to show parts diagram with part #.

what change would the white spring have vs. the stock pink spring. looked them up and they are very close same length, twist, wire diam and only slightly different force. would it be advantageous to run it if i'm using the original heel clickers? any input turk?

The white will slighty slow upshift & give better backshift. It works very well with heelclickers. It will slightly raise rpm,s.

i guess slowing upshift wouldn't be bad might put the power to the ground a little slower helping it to keep from spinning. and a quicker backshift is always nice for riding in the twisties. maybe i'll give it a try and see how it works.

Apex LTX-GT 2010 Secondary stock spring white.
And we put the green-grn-grn in the primary.
I ran the White spring at 6-1
