Has anyone vented the clutch side some more on there Apex/Attak? Interested in possibly doing it to my Attak and RX1 to cool the clutches a little more. Post pics if you have them. Thanks

I did it once on an RX because I hit a tree branch that pierced the body panel. I made a mesh cover like that and one night all alone at 2 am in the upper UP I almost found myself walking home 4 miles because snow had build up inside over the period of a hard day and night of riding on new loose snow. I stopped at a friends place for a bit and left, made it a couple of miles and the belt started to slip. Finally it would not bite at all.
I tried to dry it out but it was so packed with frozen snow I couldn't without pulling the entire panel. I cleaned it out and pulled the belt and used my shirt to clean the parts dry.

These clutches really don't run hot at all unless they aren't tuned right. Touch a Ski Doo clutch after riding a while and compare. Now they get hot..
