Just bought holdover 08 Apex MTX with 0 miles on it. Going on my first trip out west to the Rabbit Ears, Colorado area the first weeekend in March.
Elevation ranges from 8500 to 10,500 in this area. Any reccomendations with gearing/clutch weights for this area or can I leave it as it is for this trip? I'm not sure where I'm currently geared(guessing 20/40) or weighted but can find that out if need be.

Yamaha recommendations for 8-10k are
40/20 gearing with 68 L chain
Yellow-Pink-Yellow primary spring
out- steel 13.3 w/hole...center- steel 13.3 w/hole...in- none
white secondary spring with preload at 70 degrees
