I ride a 2006 apex mt. what do i need to do to get the primary clutch to engage about 2000 rpm insted of 4000 rpm change spring ore weights or both thank you donn

I don't think there is a spring out there that will get you to engage at 2000rpm. IMO that is way too low of engagement on these motors anyway.

I think the most readily available spring that would help your cause is the blue/pink/blue primary spring.

I'm sure if you search online you should be able to find a Yamaha spring chart.
