hi i just bought a 03 rx1 with bender stage 2 turbo... its clutched from bender when kit was installed...just wondering if you guys have any better clutch set ups for drag racing we run about 2000 feet.... the bender kit pulls good just want to see if some one has better set up.... :4STroke:

2000 feet, that's like top end races, not drags....

just wondered what you paid for the turbo, thinking about selling mine.

For 2000 feet your going to have to gear up like 26 top gear.

How hard are you looking to leave the line?

What track are you going to run?

How many and what kind of studs?

How much boost are you going to run?

Will you strap it down?

How much do you weigh?

This is a shorty right?

2000 feet

ok i payed $8000.00 for it...the sled only has 900 miles on it... its my first yamaha  i been a shi-doo guy for ever....
ok 121"x1 1/4 ripsaw with 144 picks
stock gearing 24-38 with reverce
i am 210 lbs
and for how much boost not shure did not come with a gage!!!!!!!!! its on order.
we are just a bunch of guys who trail ride, but i have a strip on the lake its 2000 feet... i groom it every week-end we run it just for bragging rights
i am looking to be king of the lake lol :die
it running good but just looking for better... i pulled 124 mph in not even a 1/4 mile on a ice road thanks...

I run mine at 8 low and 15 high, I use hammertimes fully loaded with the white spring and it runs 10,400 on high. for trail riding i pull the three washers out of each heel just leaving the bolt and the sled runs 10,100 on low boost. In the rear I have a Team Clutch 40-32 helix. I found this set up works best for trail riding and grudge racing on different surfaces.

I also geared up a tooth on top. don't think you want to go two teeth with that 1.25 track. would do more to run a .5 speed track

144 studs on an 1 1/4 track aint gonna get it done, shave off 1/2" off the track lugs and install 192 1.200 chisels for starters.
Gear up to a 26.
Find out your boost level and get back to me.

Ted.

Stock motor can handle a lot of boost if the right fuel is used the fuel is the limiter not the motor.

7 psi on 93 octane fuel is liimit unless you have 2 head gaskets.
