Clutching 101

I have another dumb newbie question!This my understanding for a clutch kit please correct me if I'm wrong!
Clutching does not increase hp but bring you to max hp faster then stock(if set up correctly) and will hold until full shift is achieved!

Basically....You are making the clutching more efficient using the hpr you have

thanks!!I'm hoping the rest of my cotc kit arrives before the lakes melt! I plan on trailering my sled to the lake and bringing some tools to try different set ups just to get a feel for the differences!! (6-1 wrap with 2mm all the way up to 6mm then 3-3 wrap with the different shims) I will bring a gps and record my results!! I've been annoying stingray with all sorts of pm's!!! He's a great guy and been a huge help for me to get a better idea about clutching and what changes do what!!!! I'm not typically and top speed kinda guy but it will be a fun learning experience!
