I have a 51/43 helix that I ran on my SX700R. Will it fit a Vector? Any good clutching set ups that are being used besides the after market "kits"?
Turk, have you done any clutching on a Vector?

The only Vector I clutched was a turbo. Stock helix was a 43. You could use a 51/43 but your gonna have to lighten up the primary weights or use hh,s or supertips or even 8dn-20,s.

Thanks Turk. Any chance you're going to come up with clutch set up for a non turbo Vector, or are they pretty good out of the box?

Stock Vector ain,t bad...pretty close to the sweet spot of 8400-8600 rpm. Yammie factory clutching has been improving.Remember tho clutching is a compromise & to gain in 1 area you give up something else .
Pj I will pm you back I forgot.Turk there is alot to be gained with the vecor clutching and still have good backshift.

You can get a very nice gain in all areas when clutching a Vector. The 51/43, as Turk mentioned, will require less weight than what is in the weights stock. I'd recommend our Stage 3 setup as Pro116 can tell you it was quite a pickup over stock and a few others will tell you that also.
