Okay here is my issue -- my clutches are grabbing the belt at idle (from time to time) and then causing the sled to creep forward. I'm not sure if it's just never not engaging or if it's intermittent engaging early/ not letting go of the belt off the throttle. But twice last spring the Attak starting slowly moving ahead on me after I was riding and stopped the sled and was idling. Doh!
Luckily I was able to stop the sled from getting away from me.
I had switched to HC 2 Speeds and was running the white spring (Lots of initial and end spring force on a very tall spring). I'm thinking perhaps that is my issue -- too much initial force and grabbing the belt at idle? I might switch to the black spring or a Yamaha one with less force if nobody has any ideas.
Btw -- my belt is not too tight and the clutches were clean. My belt's deflection is within specs. Also is not squeaking at all.
This one has me perplexed and worried because it is a legitimate safety issue. Any thoughts? Would a spring with too much force cause this?

Adjust your secondary clutch by removing 3 washers on the backside of the inner sheave. This will lower the belt height in the secondary thus allowing the belt to run a little looser and lessen/stop the track from creeping. The belt should still be within spec.
Unless your primary is binding, the primary spring pressure shouldn't be causing it to grab the belt, unless your belt engagement is at 1400rpms.

Ok I will obviously try this but it is not a new belt and deflection is within spec. But I confess I too had considered this but then thought it maybe something else due to deflection not being too high ( tight).
Thanks gents!
