I need some help please I seem to be at an impass with my clutching....
This machine is an 2008 nytro rtx w/ intake, exhaust, cr10 plugs, pc3, race track, 9 tooth avid drivers, head light delete kit (mesh screen) and stock rear suspension...
I am looking to get a faster top speed in 600 or 660 feet on flat drags and small uphill drags. All tracks are groomed
This is were i am at with settings
Primary
8bu weights 48.7 grams empty
rollers 14.6
spring pink/silver/pink 35 and 134 total force

secondary
stock spring at 8 and 2
helix 41 degree

As it stands now i run about 130-134 kms in 660.... i have stiffer primary springs here at home but i think maybe they are too stiff? i would like to see 140-145 in 660... My engaugement is 4200-4400 rpm with a prload of 35.... do you think it would be worth goin to a prelaod of 40 and total force of 139 (pink/green/pink) I know the higher the total force the more rpm you get.I get 8850 for rpm on a road so in snow it drops down to 8600.... i would like to see close to 9000 or even 9100... And more to it should i go to a 39 degree helix?
Thanks for the help guys!!!!!!!!!

Dude throw some K&N s on it :)

o ok didnt see that my bad

You want 8900 rpm. Going to 139 total force won,t net you much. I would take some tip weight out of the 8bu,s if you have iny in them.

no weight in the 8bu's That is kinda what has me stumped i do also have a spring with 40 and 143 but i dont know if the higher engaugement is worth the top end? But it might help me out of the hole and a length on a sled at the end of the track is hard to make up

8bu,s allways work better with some tip weight also. Look for a helix about 43/35 & maybe add 1-2 grams in tip.

sweet i will add some tip weight and test it out thi sunday! Thanks for the help!
