Try Scott at OFT, ben running this setup for 3 yrs and is spot on!

Take both rivits out of the stock weights, this will give you about 9,000 rpm in powder. Zero $'s spent, worked fantastic for me in West Yellowstone last year, same sled, same track.

Isn't West YellowStone 6-8000'? I second the give Scott a call at OFT. It is a long ways to go to not have your sled running at peak performance.

Depends on where you ride in West, my Uncles cabin in Island Park ( 30 miles from West ) sits at 7,800 elev, we can ride up to almost 10k elev from there, most of the riding is 8-9,500.
Just a suggestion,

I've got a kit so I can't help much with clutching but also consider dropping one or two teeth on top sprocket if you have not already done so.... I'm down 2 teeth to 19/39 and works well.
