TY 4 Stroke Junkie
O.K., I have to say it at the start, I know zip about clutching. I have the general physics of it, I have a basic understanding of how it works, but I wouldn't even begin attempting experimenting with changing weights, etc. With that said, I see many people on here comparing clutching. Its my understanding that there are a LOT of factors which affect clutching...overall weight (sled + rider), temperature (and how it affects the engine, indirectly affecting the clutching), altitude, gearing, snow conditions, etc., etc., etc. So how can people compare clutching? I would think unless the same person was going to ride another identical sled on the same trails, then the ideal clutching would be different.
O.K., with that said, is there any clutch kit on the market that would help me for general performance trail riding, but is something that I can set up myself? Kind of a generic bolt-in and go, that would be better than the factory setup? Sorry to ask such an ignorant, newbie question, but there it is. I know where my knowledge is, and it ain't clutching!
