So has anyone done any testing to see at what Rpm these things run best. I,ve heard different claims on peak HP RPM 10,200-10,500. Mine seems to run good at 10,500 but I have not had the time to actually test. Randy from Super torquer said he has heard a lot of people are having great luck at 10,200.

Mine seems to pull hard at 10,200. Thats where I will keep mine.

I had about 100 miles on and diled in the clutches one night right at 10,500. I was hitting 120-121 on the speedo on a fairly hard pack lake. I put on 140 miles the next day. That night I tested again in near identical conditions and I was screaming at 11,000. Top speed was 117-118. It was a little earlier so it was not quite as fast and I was out of the power.I was very surpised that the power picked up that much. My RX made most power gains the first 50 miles. I think once I hit it with some more weight and bring it back to 10,500 it should really rip.

Everyones sled will react different to rpms, but i think if all you want is top lake speed 1/2 to 2 miles go with stock set up,as it will creep up to 10,800 all by itself if the conditions are real hard or ice,but if you want to drag race 500-1500ft go with a clutch kit, that will get you there quicker.. ;)!
