I have found out that you simply take all the rivets out of a Apex in order to ride in the mountains..

What do you do for the Rx-Warrior (besides jetting) to run in the mountains? (removed the weights also?)

There are four things that you should do for riding in the mountains around 10,000 feet. First, as you mentioned is jetting (130 Mains). Don’t forget to turn the pilot screw from standard (approx. 2 turns) to ¾ turn. Second, remove the rivets from the primary clutch weights (63.8 grams). Third, change the spring in the primary clutch (Pink-Silver-Pink). Fourth, re-gear to a 1.73 ratio (38 tooth driven sprocket, 22 tooth drive sprocket and a 68 link chain.) Mine has been setup like this for two seasons and has run great. I am now in the process of changing it all back to low elevation settings for our Wisconsin trip in a couple weeks. When I get back, I will change it all again. Let me know if you need any more info on how to change everything out. Good luck.
