Can anybody give some advice on what is reqired to clutch using this belt? I am losing about 1000 rpm on top end. I believe it is due to the increased length. If I shim the secondary will that be fix my lost rpm?

Thanks Guys

Seems like the Rs would go up with a loose belt (i.e. slipping belt). But if it is longer, you need to set the deflection. You may be able to compensate by adjusting Belt Height in the Secondary. But, this adjustment is limited. The only other adjustment you have for this is Center-to-Center.

Is the belt width the same as OEM?

It's a softer compound belt that's why you are seeing less RPM..

It's that xsx belt that snowtech was promtoing. Any idea's as how to clutch for it?

Remove the inside rivet and lighten the middle one by a gram...the belt doesn't slip any more like the yamaha one does or just get a straight 43 and call it a day...don't touch the weights at all.
