My 75 HP shot of nitrous should solve the top end issue this year. :nos

See there is always a way around these things. :-o

I would recommend a Predator. Great hook-up without the loss in top end that comes with a Cobra. Been there, done that! JMHO

1" Predator would be great, but you can't get except for a 121". That sucks..

I lost 3-4mph on my Apex from the Cobra. There is a reason Cat got ride of it. They now switched to the ripsaw on the Turbo. D&D racing calls it the "Cobra wall". My self and my buddies have tested this track alot. F1000 and my old 06 Apex GT. On trail, there is about a 3-5 mph difference, depending on the sled. Acceleration will slow as well over 100mph depending on the conditions. On ice it's 7-10mph difference on top end. If you don't believe me contact "drdoug" on here. He bought my old sled and changed out the conra to a ripsaw and then to a speed track for testing purposes. He knows how much it robs power.

However, if you are always riding in very loose snow to powder conditions the Cobra is the track to have.

..........and I know this and put one back on. I guess I don't care anymore about top end. There's always something faster when your sled is as old as mine. What I have noticed is just what you said. In loose snow (like you get in the UP) it is awesome on the trails. Corner to corner is actually better because it hooks so hard. I can actually keep up to bigger HP sleds because of it. Out on the lake I know I was faster with the Predator. It's all a trade off. I don't think anyone will ever invent a variable lug track that changes lug height as you ride. LOL!!!
