I'm getting ready to buy a new track for my 07 RTX. I ran the Cobra on my last Apex and loved it for about 3-4,000 miles before all the lugs wore down and bent. Right now I can get a 1.25" predator for $100 less. If there a substantial performance difference between the two? I run unstudded. Which track will last longer?

I have a cobra on my vector GT and I love it !! I have about 2000 miles on it unstudded.
I have the cobra and love it.....but.....I have heard that the predator does not kill the top end like the cobra

I like the Ripsaw better than the Cobra. The lugs on Cobra are to soft.

3-4,000 and you are Happy?
Port Yamaha recommended that I get the Ripsaw II when I replace my track. The original track (Ripsaw) is wearing like iron (almost 16,000 miles) with no rips tears or lugs missing -- with no studs. I'm sure I'll be changing it out next year to the Ripsaw II.

Predator is awesome. Had both cobra is better at braking and predator has better top end. Both great tracks. I think the predator is more durable.

How is the side bit on the Predator? Actually liked that my Cobra would slide in the corners. It eliminated a lot of inside ski lift.

If anyone is interested in a Ripsaw II, it's now offered in 121-128 -136" 2.52. I just installed a 136" on my Apex, so this winter will be my first run with that track line. There is no 144" track yet.
The Camoplast website claims the Ripsaw II is a blend of the Ripsaw I, Predator and Cobra.
Here is a post from another member about this track earlier this year:
