What are the pros and cons of these tracks and which one is an all around track and there will be studs in the one that I choose? Who has the best price? Thanks

Chad

If you need studs, I'd go with a Predator. The studs required to do any good on the Cobra are going to be something like 1.4's. That's a lot of length/weight, with increased potential for trouble...

The Predator will run right with a Cobra in loose conditions, and studded, should do fine on hardpack. I love the Cobra, I just believe there's a better solution if you need studs.... FWIW

I think the Predators are on sale at tracksusa....

The Ripsaw is a POS.....

The ripsaw is a great track just not on a apex.
I went with the cobra and all i can say is  :drink: LOL!!!
I do think the predator would be just as good.

You can't get the predator in a 136x1.25. That is what I wanted to get but, I can't find one fully clipped. Is the six pitch the same as the predator?

Just be aware that a Cobra will scrub a few mph off of your top end! When I found this happening I talked to Allen Ulmer about it and he told me that he found the same thing. I took mine out and went with a Predator and am very satisified and the speed came right back. This was on a RX and an Apex with the same results.

How is the cobra as far as durability vs ripsaw?

I've got 3800 miles on mine. It's still in great shape. After a close inspection I could only find 1 lug with a slight tear in it, otherwise it looks like new.

I hace had them all and the predator or cobra is the best. The cobra is better at braking but loses some speed (not a lot).

I always run 144 studs down the middle on all tracks and the cobra is my favorite so far.

When I talk predator I had the 1.25" version.

Predator will definitly be cheaper if you can find one you want.

IS there a specific stud you prefer with the Cobra Kinger? 1.450"? or?

I agree, I lost 4mph on top and slowed acceleration once you Reach 95+ mph after installing the Cobra. The ripsaw pulled harder up top.

I went with the 1 1/4" Predator, fully clipped for this season, and, 144 1.325 gold diggers up the middle.

I decided to go with a 1 1/2" ripsaw this year. I was looking around for a while and was torn between a predator and this taller ripsaw. I got the ripsaw for a pretty low price so I decided to give it a try.
