The ripsaw sucks in powder and durability, and I wanted to change it out. Was thinking 1.25 9818 or 1.0 9830. Want it to be great on trail and better off trail than ripsaw. I plan on running 192 studs. What's your thoughts and experience with these on a 121" APEX model? Pros-Cons?? THANKS

Yeah, thats a way better track. 1" will probably be just a little better in deep. 1.25 will be LOTS better. An even better move though, is to stretch it out longer. No matter what track you put on it, 121" isn't even NEARLY enough track to harness that kind of power.

I have a 9818 1.25 on my Apex Gt and it is the best upgrade i have ever done, I changed out my Ripsaw because it was falling apart and it was terrible of trail. I think you will be very happy with this track i love mine.

i had the 9818 on my viper and the ripsaw on the other viper. 9818 is way better in off trail and they are one tough track. ripsaw on packed and loose trail conditions gripped better but anything over 12" and the 9818 sailed past.

I have the 9818 on my SRX...it was that or the ripsaw. A friend got the ripsaw on his SRX and mine is way better in loose snow. It is one tough track too!

You may be correct as long as you stay off trail the longer track is what you need, but if all you do is run groomed or not so groomed trails 121 is just what you want,i dont have any problems getting my power to the ground with the 121 ripsaw,my only complaint is the track is to soft, and that causes lots of problems for the way i drive, tearing lugs, delamanation problems and stretching to early in the tracks life, plus pain in butt to studd these 1.25 tracks, preditor fully clipped tracks are way ahead of the game for my riding style, and faster on top,for me that a huge plus... for some maybe not, different strokes for different folks, its all good if its cool for your style.LazyBastard said:Yeah, thats a way better track. 1" will probably be just a little better in deep. 1.25 will be LOTS better.
