I just purchased an 03 RX1 for my wife. I got a pretty good deal. It has the wide front end kit and an Expert X out back with a 1.25 Rip saw with 1000Kms. The guy i bought it from said his hand warmers stopped working on the last ride of last season but the thumb warmer still works. Dash flashes a code 22 i believe. Any one want to help out on this one??

I assume by "code 22" you mean the warning light flashes on twice for about 1 sec each and then is off for 2 sec and then flashes twice again repeating. According to the manual, this means there is a fault in the grip warmer circuit.
Here are a few pages from the service manual on what to check and how. I would start with the main fuse.

Check inside the handlebar cover for a mouse nest. They'll chew thru the wires there.

Try looking down the steering column with the pad off there was an issue with wires getting pinched between the column and the steering stop. Turn the bars all the way one direction and you'll see what I'm talking about. It's either shorting against the frame or broken.
