Here's the situation. My wife's Vector is very cold blooded. You cannot give it any throttle at all when it is cold or it stalls. I let it warm up until the light goes out, but still it stalls. Eventually you can get through this once the sled is completely warm. However, it will ALWAYS hesitate when you get on the throttle from an idle.
What could be the possible causes of this? My thoughts are:
1) Dirty Pilot Jets?
2) Idle too low?
It idles around 1200 rpm or so.
As far as the pilots are concerned, what is involved in cleaning them? Do I need to remove the carbs or can they be cleaned in place? If anyone could provide me some details or reference to a tech post on this I would appreciate it greatly.
