My two are NEW and Idle at 1400, never touch the idle adj.

Mine has done that from day 1. It has to run pretty long after the light goes out before it will take any throttle.
I will bet that RSVectorFreak 's sled does not have this glitch.

As of matter of fact it doesn't. I have flo commanders installed so it's always running with the carbs synched perfectly and running mint!

A really good idea! In fact, no I have not, but I certainly will. It seems to be clearing up a bit after a few minutes of running Sea Foam through it. I will change the plugs now and see what happens.

Check your plugs, if they are black and have a wet fouled look, this will be a good indication that you have some plugged pilot jets.

I had 2 jets that were clogged from summer storage.

My dealer cleaned and synchronized the carbs when I had it in for the updates.

Concur with the response: Idle should be set at 1400 rpms when everything is clean.
