I insulated my bars this year and hoping it helps.
Today I tried using my 99 cent fleet farm gloves that are just non waterproof nylon and some cottom stuffing and it was 3 degrees and i was comforable in the short cruise I took, obvsiously not good for a long weekend because they would be soaken wet. When I let off the bars and was checking the sled over the cheap gloves froze up!
I'll keep experimenting wuth thinner gloves

Same temps on Sunday, but I wore an old set of gloves that are thinner and had no problems like I had on Saturday when I worn my new pair of $80 Coldwaves.
