Last two times I left my sled out of the garage overnight, I've not been able to crank it over. Any ideas on how to correct this? Is it common? Do I have a battery issue? Temps were 18F this morning, not really that cold.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a battery problem. Charge the battery or jump it off to be sure. I installed a set of pigtail wires with a connector to match my charger. I leave the connector hanging outside the hood. I simply connect the charger for 24 hrs each month. I don't get much colder than here, and my vector has never left me stranded. My #1 rule for 4 strokes...take care of the battery.
Hopr this helps.

you have a new sled if memory serves. Several possibilities:
1. Battery never fully charged from new - put on charger and bring up to full charge
2. defective battery
3. Charging system not charging
4. drain on battery

I have an Optimate 3 trickle charger and I'm still on the same battery since 2006 and 6700 miles

thanks guys, I bought a new battery and paid careful attention to allowing the battery to sit and then charge on 2A. Battery reads over 14 so I hope I'm good. I'm heading up to Millinocket ME tomorrow so I should get a good test in anyway.

BTW the sled is next to new as far as use however it's a 2005 built in June 04 so the batt isn't/wasn't exactly new.

One more thing, those batt's sure aren't cheap. :o|
