Colorado pictures please!

Tim, you should not pick on Bill like that!!

He was being Tour Guide for you Guys wasn't he??

LOL its all good. Was my fault getting used to the 285hp turbo how it handled in the bottomless powder and made a few driver errors and got stuck. After the first few hours I did not get stuck again for the next two days. :sled2:

Buddy could not even stay on the trail!

Ok so this is officially amazing! Let me know if you ar ever looking for another rider to join the group. I'd drive 15 hours for that!!

FamilyMan is heading out there tomorrow or the next day and looking for some more people to join him.
He has a thread going on trying to invite some more people to share the ride. ;)!

That's great Tim, I thought maybe you had changed your track to a deeper lug.
All the times I've been to Doubis Wy. I had my Nytro with the 1.75 and my Apex with the 1.75 and really got along pretty well.
Better with the boosted Nytro of course.
The pics you guys have posted, it looks like a lot losser powder. I think I would take the time to change mine over and put my 153 x 2.25 on.
That getting stuck is getting to be a lot of work for a old guy like myself!

Colorado....oh man! What incredible snow!

Here it goes.....
Day before Christmas, Stingray calls me and asks if I put the 2 1/4 inch 153" track on and I told him no....I am setup for trail and wasn't going to change it. He pointed out the webcam and how much they had and were going to get the next few days......I started a fire in the shop and started wrenching. LOL

Left Saturday 12/26 early in the morning, got to Rifle, Colorado at 4:30am and got a hotel to rest a bit. The next morning was a slow drive up the mountain, but HOLY F!!!!!! the snow!!!!

Unloaded the sleds, did some tuning and went for a short burst ride. Dave_RX1 and his son got a taste of off-trail with 137" stock track Vipers and had enough of playing off-trail as the groomer didn't get out to Lands End yet. (That's where we were trying to get to but the snow was anywhere from 5 feet to 10 feet deep in areas!) Dave's son tried following a track and got sucked into a hole next to a tree. While trying to get his sled out, I heard Dave announce on the helmet communicator that he was buried. 2 sleds buried and sun going down....had to act quick. Got the 1 viper unstuck and went for Dave. Took shovels, bungies and my sled to get him out. Temps dropped 20° instantly and got real cold.

2nd day, went out and played in more fresh snow....UNREAL! Groomed trail all the way to Lands End and clear skies :)
Only issue we had this day was a 2016 Viper (new style engine) lose prime on the oil pump....this was wierd because it was right on the trail, no off-trail or on it's side. After thinking about it, I tipped the sled on it's left side, started it and it primed right away. Met up with Rylan and his family from Canada, 3 more Vipers and an Apex :)
Great family and now new friends!

3rd day, playing on and off-trail....the sleds were getting normalized with the altitude and really starting to run good. Played on a lake bed with steep inclines to the trail and so much snow....it was awesome! Bad part about this day was Project SRX broke a drive axle and had to be towed back. The rest of the night was spent trying to locate an axle....with no luck.

4th day morning was driving down the mountain where Shagman and myself got a killer deal on helmets and parts for a Mountain Cat that I was able to use if I fixed the clutching and got it running good! Win Win!!! Went for a ride later that day, did some carving, off-trail and some fast on trail. Found some goggles in the snow.....too bad they were Pink (who cares, I wore them anyway....LMAO!)

5th day, Shagman and myself went on top of the mountain and my altitude read 11,370 feet with a quick 11,580 feet. Tried getting a picture, but it switched back to 11,370 before I could take it. Very cold, lots of snow and with just the 2 of us....we didn't want to bury ourselves as Stingray and Dianne were on their way to the lodge. When Stingray got there, we all went off-trail and Stingray buried himself a couple times and couldn't believe the depth of the snow! We all laughed and kept plugging through all the deep fresh powder. NOS-PRO jr. (now called Rock Detector) found a huge rock once again and was thrown from his sled....same as last year. Just glad he wasn't hurt. After that we moved to some other areas to throw down some moves, make some paths and show the powder what we were there for :)

Stingray's EVO turboed sled is a MONSTER! We all had a great time on it and never saw a sled wheelie so long in loose powder like that! Dianne's turbo sled was so much fun, wish I had videos of me playing as there was no mercy for the powder that day! We rocked those sleds and had so much fun!

Great time had by all! Post pics tonight :)

Sounds like you all had a Great time!
Can't wait for more pics! ;)!
