Comes out of gear-slips

Another thing it could be is the "shift fork," if its worn from holding the gear in place it may not have the same tolerance to help hold the gear over onto the splines. Check for wear in the gear, bushing, actuator, detent position, both upper/lower bearings, chaincase fluid (burnt?), chain tension and any shavings on the magnets.

No solid state relays used on the viper. All the relays used in a viper excluding the two 5-pin reverse relays are 4-pin and can be installed if rotated 180 degrees. Because of the possible 180 degree rotation there is no set polarity orientation for the coil side of the mechanical relay. A solid state relay is polarity dependent so it would have to be installed in the same orientation every time which makes the chances of a replacement SSR very unlikely. The reverse relays have a set installed orientation due to it being a 5-pin relay so a replacement would be a possibility.

I've mocked up a pigtail conversion for the ISC and Fuel pump relay to accept a Yamaha SSR but haven't tested it yet. I'm also considering another possibility that may help with all relays not just the ISC and Fuel.
