So a last week I was doing donuts on my phazer and I wasn't able to bring it back up so it stopped on its side (oil tank facing ground) I hit the kill switch instantly and then pulled the sled upright...
when started it back up the gauge said low oil and it put the sled into "limp" mode. where it would idle fine but when I gave it throttle the engine would power out.
after about 5 minutes everything was and I was able to sled again...I'm guess the system reset ??
so my questions are
1.) why did that happen ?its pretty much a brand new sled only has 240km on it
2.) what would going with a kill switch tether do differently then me just hitting the kill switch on the handlebar
3.) would a roll over kit help this? and what exactly does it do? as from what I was able to read on the forum and see from the pictures I don't quite understand how it works.
4.) if I do install the rollover kit do I also need a tether?
and before somebody say "search the forums for the answers as their have been many posts about this"
my answer to you is yes I have done many searches on this forum and others but it jut made me more confused about it as there was too many people with too many different answers
Thanks in advance

1 When you had it on its (Right) side it lost prime. they will lose prime running or shut off. If you tip it far enough it will leak oil out the breather in the air box.
2 A simple tether would do nothing different. ( than kill switch)
3 A ROV tether will kill the engine and block the oil tank air breather. (No oil leaking).
4 Rovs come with a tether.
To reprime : Right sled. pull air box cover. Then pinch the oil hose and re start sled. hold the hose until there is pressure in the hose (20 seconds ish)
hope this helps.

2008lee is correct about the ROV function. Also new for this season, I added the oil pump re-prime (quick prime) switch to premium version Phazer/Nytro ROV kit. It's the same set up as found on the Viper and Sidewinder ROV kits.
The quick prime function allows you to re-prime the oil pump by simply pressing and holding the switch down for a few seconds while starting the engine. It saves you from having to pull the cover and pinching the breather line to re-prime the pump!
