I am considering getting into ATVs (have a few Yamaha snowmobiles) with the purchase of a used ATV.
Other than this site, any good resources I should be looking at?
Any specific models I should look for; will ride primarily in the U.P. of Michigan at a buddy's deer camp. I was thinking a 4x4 ATV as I don't see the need for a race-type as we typically ride unimproved logging, utility, and hand-cut trails.

Was also interested in a used Rhino-thoughts?

Any information or suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks!

the grizzlys are good no matter what year. rhino 660 and 450 are good as well. the 450 is slower than the 660 but goes in all the same places off road with ease.

the 400-450 bikes are good ones as well, just not as fast as the 600-660 grizz.

if possible get one with the diff lock and selectable 4x4/2x4. but pretty much any yamaha will take a lot of abuse before it demands your attention.

i would suggest either a 450 kodiak or 700 grizzly with p.s,the 550 is still new so expensive,i rode a grizz 660 for 8500 miles,it was a very good bike but it had a cpl issues that made me get rid off,the motor will eventually burn oil, something like the 03 rx1,but worst,on mine anyways.that was the main reason i sold it,the rear diff would slide out once in a while, pain in the butt when youre deep in the bush, but theres a fix for that, front wheel bearings didnt last very long but i do go in mud quite a bit during hunting season,so i bought a 700 p.s,much, much better bike,no issues whatsoever with it in 3000 miles, motor is solid,no oil burning and power steering is addictive, dont want to ride anything else after you get a taste of it,my 2 cent
