Congrats kimoaj! Did you have time to call MCXpress yet?
This will be a great season, not a doubt about that.
We are currently outnumbering the kitty-cat guys in our riding crew -
That's a gooood thing

Thanks Dimebag, MCX`s business hours are over, will have to call tomorrow, lol. (for you other guys, no, I am not turbo-ing it yet)
Btw Dimebag I really like the new mod on your sled, awesome. (bent subframe) =P
Heres a pic of the sled:
Proud owner =P
I`ve now ordered the new type stylish matte black front and rear bumper, black cover, ice scratchers, goldfinger, OFT steering relocator kit and OFT tether switch with rollover valve, I can wait... wish the package somehow made its way under our christmas tree!!
Is there something more essential things I need?

I would move your ski spacers so you have a narrow stance it will be easier to carve.
Kimoaj,Are you going to keep the viper since you ordered the 151 stuff for it?
Hi pro116! Yes I was going to ask you guys what setup you run on your nytros, I really like the narrow front on the Viper so I am going to move the spacers to the most narrow position.
Should run high or low pressure in the front suspension to make it carve easier?
As for the Nytro I talked to Rich and I cancelled the 151" and the extension kit, instead I am getting a new stock 144" track.
Wether I`m going to sell it or not, I`m not sure.. I dont think my girl will ride it (or no other sled for that matter, she only wants to be a passenger).
I could use the money though to get rid of the extra loan I have on the Nytro now.. but we`ll see.
I am so happy with the way the viper handles, hope I can learn to ride the nytro the same way and to the same stuff that I did on the Viper.
Last year I put SLP powder pros on the Viper, are they better then the stock skis on the Nytro? I`m thinking of maybe putting the SLP`s on the Nytro and use the Nytro skis on the Viper.
What do you think??

Hi Joakim
Congratulations on your new awesome Nytro
Switch the ski`s, you will need it more on your Nytro
See you in the mountains

Hi ntm_08, thanks!!
Like dimebag said, we are currently outnumbering the kittycat guys in our riding group =P
I will try the stock skis first, the Yamaha ski is pretty much the same (I hear they say). But I will probably try the slps some time.
Tomorrow I`m going to mount a skidplate on the MTX, how can I prevent the ice buildup problem? Drill some holes in it?

I lost my skidplate at the first trip, and the ice buildup is extreme. I would not have used it, i would have bought the aluminium skid that someone makes on this forum ( i think )
I would not say that it is similar to the original, it looks the same but it has more carve on the sides. So i think it will side hill much easier. You have both, so it's easy for you to compare ?
And yes, we are outnumbering the kittycat guys. And more importantly, more power even without the turbo. My experience, take it for what it's worth

It's unbelievable to see a stock Nytro MTX outclimb and M8 cat.
Thats just awesome..
Stock engine anyway

Hi guys!
Today I spent a couple of hours in the garage with the Nytro.
Got the skidplate mounted and also adjusted the skis to the most narrow position. I also adjusted the airpressure in the frontshocks to 62PSI.
Before I started it was really hard to tip the sled over on the side, I needed several attempts with my foot out as a counterweight (if thats the correct word). Now I can do it easily, it flips right up
I might have to increase the airpressure alittle, we`ll see.
What pressure do you guys run?
Some pics
Mean tools!!!
Pop-nuts in place
I will be trying it for the first time on Christmas eve or 1st christmas day, I can wait!! It`s very little snow but I know some guys that have been up on the mountain and they say that there is 50-100cm of powder.
I hope I wount fry my slides before I get there.. I`m still waiting for the ice scratchers.
Wellwell I`ll keep you posted.
