My first post here and I´ve tried and searched but didnt find anything good about this subject.
And yes I know it´s an really bad idea not to buy a newer machine that already got the injection.
But the thing is that a friend owns an -04 Warrior and he did come over some parts from an Apex GT -07 pretty cheap so now he wonders if it´s possible to install all the electrical/injection parts?
Is there some trigger or sensor of any kind that the newer engine got and the old one doesnt? Like on the camshaft or something?
And then the injection should need some more power, does the stator handle that?

The head is different and parts wont bolt up correctly. Only conversion that has been done was a complete swap, engine and all. You;ll need the gas tank, gauge (speedo), etc etc.
Another option is to go with a aftermarket ECU fuel injection system but that is $6000+
As cheap as apex's are now your better off getting one or finding a wrecked one with good engine system and swapping everything.

Ok so the head is different, is there any sensor extra too?
My buddy already got the injection with tank, harness, gauge, electrical boxes, throttle bodies with the fuel injectors and the rear suspension with the electrical ohlins shock.
But if we want to install only the rear suspension then, is there some way to get the shock working with the eletrical?

I don't know why you'd want to go to injection other than to eliminate the choke. Theres nothing wrong with the carbs on the Warrior unless you let them gum up and plug jets. You'll spend a bunch of money only to have severe headaches. The Apex injection is tuned to the Apex engine, not the RX-1 engine.
Yeah it is a headache I ended up with a full swap out to apex motor stroked to 1100 ccs. With all of the motor, electronics, fuel pump and speedometer conversions it took weeks and my stock 05 ran bumper to bumper with it with the wife on the 05 no less.
It was nice on the trips out west not having to re jet but, at 4000 miles kapow I ventilated the block with 2 rods and now shes a lawn ornament.
So If anybody needs anything I got everything for an 06 apex except the block. Never opened it up so I don't know what the total of the damage was or what caused it (tooooo painful).

Ok ok. But how about the rear skid with the electronic Ohlins, anyone installed that and got everything working?
weeeellll, I can say it depends on the year, they played with different valving and spring rates on them also. I had an Apex GT and an Attack GT both were 07's and I never liked the adjustablity as much as I did in the stnd monoshock. I did put a Bender Proaction mono upgrade in my 03 and the Penske shock that they sold with that outperforms any of the stock shocks. It is a 30 position clicker and has a lot more adjustability to the spring rate. I dont know if they still sell them that was in 05. I still have the sled but 2 motors blown it is just a shrine and spare parts donor.
