New guy here....over here from the smoking lounge. Looking to get an EPS sled because of physical issues. Need opinions on best EPS sled w/ ES,rev, a 136 or 144 and cushy ride. Speed/performance is no longer a issue w/ my condition. Just lookin to get back out on the trail. Oh yea....I'm 6'3", 295# w/o my gear.

I would get a used apex XTX (still like speed) or do some homework on a Venture model they are nice and cushy.
Burnoutink suggested an Apex XTX over on my post in the smokin side. I just do not want or need all that power/temptation.Although the Venture is the same displacement.....just w/ 3 holes instead of 4. Didn't know how the power distrubution differed between the two?
Was looking at this

EPS does cut down on the arm and shoulder strain. I think this might be huge in your case. Venture is going to give a cushier ride even for a single rider of your physique. I would look for a Venture, but the Vector is nice too.

Honestly for myself, I preferred the Apex XTX the best for harder riding on bumpy trails. Even over the Nytros. But I am still able to ignore the pain of past sins for the most part. I love how the 144 bridges the smaller bumps.

I seen this written about the Vector in the link above.
Is the Apex also now in a Deltabox 3 chasis?
Other than what is written below, are there other changes between the 2?

•Deltabox® III with comfortable rider-forward position
The primary design objective of the Deltabox III chassis was to create a comfortable rider-forward posture. The ergonomic treatment is achieved by locating the handlebars and seated position high and forward on the chassis. With this positioning, the rider can go from sitting to standing and back again easily and comfortably. It also centralizes the combined mass of sled and driver, for razor-sharp handling.

It sounds like the Vector is a slightly better option? If I'm hearing correctly.
