Coolant level

Hi,

I have a SW BTX LE 2017, and I noticed by coincidence that the coolant level was half full.

I havent gotten any warnings or errors, but is this normal and OK to ride with?

Half full shouldn't cause any problems. You may want to check and tighten all your coolant fittings. My 2017 slowly lost coolant until I discovered about 6 hose clamps that needed tightening. Your coolant level shouldn't move once the system is completely sealed up.

the Fill Cold line on your reservoir is where it should be which is below half full for that reservoir!

Otherwise, Half Full where? how would you know?

But yes it should stay on the cold fill mark unless warm, then the coolant does expand when it gets warmer, so it will go over the line, and will overflow if overheating!

Check your oil level to make sure its not increasing. Fill to cold line and make sure to bleed it following this guy:

Are you sure it wasn't half empty?
