Is anyone having problems with keeping coolant in the overflow tank? If I top the level up to the cold line (when the engine is cold) it all comes out the over flow line once the engine is warmed up (usually after a few kms down the trail) until there is barely any in the over flow. Afterward when the engine is cold, there is barely an fluid in the tank. Even if I add enough just to get a bit into the tank when cold, it'll be spit out once the engine is warmed up.

Sounds like you might have some air in the system. You have to bleed the cooling system if it gets below the tank level, or if you took off your carb rack.
Fill it to the cold mark first before bleeding it.
I just tilt my trailer (so the front of the sled is higher than the rear) and leave the coolant cap loose, then run it up to temp.
Then make sure it is at the cold mark when it cools off.
The other way is to raise the rear and use the bleed screw in the rear pipe. (as per owners manual)

Thanks Jerry. I'll try that. BTW, you mean the cap for the overflow tank, right?

My sled has done this since day one. I top it up at the first of the season each year, let it puke out and then I don't worry about it for the rest of the year. Sled has 9000Km and runs good.

Mine has done the same thing since new too. I usually top it off after a trip, but I don't think it is a big problem.
Had mine filled to the proper level and yesterday when it was all warmed up I kept noticing green in the snow every time I stopped for the first couple hours. It stopped after that. My temp light never came on. It's just a weird thing I guess!
