I decided start my sled and let it sit there and idle because I wanted to make sure it was idling down correctly and to see if/when the fan would turn on. After about 10-12 minutes of idling the fan never turned on, no warning lights came on, heat exchanger was hot and I shut it down because I got tired of waiting. I came back out about two hours later and noticed about a 2 inch puddle of coolant on the floor that came out of the overflow tube.
Question: in fall 50 degree weather, how long will your phazer sit there idleing before the fan comes on?
I did notice the coolant bottle (when engine was cold) was about 3/4 full and it was above the line. could the puddle just be blow out from the res tank being to full?
thx

If I missed this information then I apologize, but what year and model Phazer do you have?

Most likely it's the reservoir tank being too full...but I bet it isn't anymore. What level is it at now?

In the spring when i go to store the sled i like to run some fuel stabilizer. run it for about 10-15 mins to get the stuff everywhere in the fuel system and my fan wont turn on unless i keep the cover on and give press a bit on the throttle.
As for the spill it was probably just because it was too full.

so my coolant res tank was still over filled when I checked it. I took about 7oz out of it and until it was back on the fill line. Also blew out the over fill tube. I'll test it again another day.
i'll cross my fingers for now. thanks everyone
