Was sitting on the sled last night and heard a noise like coolant boiling at the front rt of sled. Looked around then the rad fan started running very slowly and getting faster all the way to high speed. Key was off and I only ran the engine for about 5 minutes 4 hours earlier. I disconnected the fan connector then reconnected. Still the same. Disconnected the battery and reconnected 30 min after and still on. What is going on with this? I did wash the oil tank and lightly hosed it off because of the electrical centre there. Did not want to cause any issues. Guess that failed!

Just a guess but maybe the relay got wet? might be cheaper to replace the relay to troubleshot than buying a new fan and finding out it does the same thing?

Well its not the fan. It needs a signel to turn on. Not sure if it would be a relay, ecm, or temp sensor. Anyway, does anyone know which relay it is?
