Last night I had a problem with my '15 Viper RTX LE with MPI Turbo. The coolant temp fluctuated from normal 72C to all numbers from 2C and in between causing the low temp warning to come on and the machine to stall. I have taken off the cable and I am wondering if there is anyway someone can suggest to test the sensor or the cable? My dealer will have to order the sensor but with it being so intermittent with the fluctuations it seems to be more of wiring issue than anything else.

Sounds like temp sensor..
My 14 used to do that and go from 50 to 195 f once at wot it shut off but then stopped doing it. I have noticed in my videos the red warning light flashing while the bar graph is only shiwing 2/3rds .

Mine was doing same thing, never went low enough for cold temp light to come on but would fluctuate 40-50 degrees either way from normal operating temps. $10 temp sensor solved the problem
