Trying to help someone out with starting issue so I took some numbers off mine in Diagnostic Mode sat all week outside in trailer. Figure it may give others something to compare to. Mine has always and still does start in one try no prime with all 3 flashes. This is with latest flash in it.
If others could copy/paste this and put there numbers in would be very helpful. Diagnostics is found by pressing both bottom buttons on dash same time then follow the scrolls/select.
OK Here is mine from sitting for all week in trailer just turn key on not started
39 coolant temp
41 Intake Air Temp
742 mmHG Baro
129 ISC
30ohms Fuel pump
11v
Then started it
ISC was at 120
Fuel pump 34 Ohms
14.2 Volts at 1470-1510rpm
Rest same
Once temp light out and then some
165 coolant temp
41 intake air temp
742 mmHg Bar
65-84 ISC
Fuel Pump 34 Ohms
14.4 V

Thank you! The guy has a hot start issue. Once warm it won't start unless throttle given. Also had the P1338 code. Same thing many 14 guys dealt with back in 13 except this one was flashed with newest code.Cold with just turned key on-

I believe his ISC is at 120 warmed up. That's out of whack.

Is this something new his sled is experiencing or has it always had it?

You might be on to something with the ISC, too much air and not enough fuel possibly and "blipping" the throttle may command more fuel to get it to start. My Phazer has always needed a quick blip when heat soaked, like turning if off after a hard powder run for a quick chat, to get it to catch. I only tried a few hot starts with my Viper so far and it seem to catch quickly but it really wasn't heat soaked, aka "Worked hard" before turning it off then restarting.
Always had it 2015 but not ridden much till this year.Is this something new his sled is experiencing or has it always had it?

Hot start and low rpm burble is bad on my '15, cold is never a problem. I went with the EVO flash looking for improvements, but it didn't help at all. In communicating with EVO about it, they pointed towards fuel injectors with bad manufacturing tolerances. Just another possibility-
