I have done stingrays air box mod and have only been able
to try it once due to 50 degree weather, our snow is gone. the one time I went out I was getting between 70 and 80 degree intake air temperature. So I was thinking where the fresh air comes in at the nose of the sled run a 4 inch duct like the one in the picture directly from the cool air vent straight up to the hole in the air box. Looks like there's plenty of room in there just not sure if it would benefit or hurt anything. any thoughts?

TY 4 Stroke God
I actually bought the material to try this a year ago. But as I was test fitting it hit me WHERE AM I GOING TO GET AIR TO BLOW THROUGH THE ENGINE COMPARTMEN? If you think it is hot under there now block off that air and see how hot it gets.
Also, it was proven on the 2 stroke viper that direct air induction is a bad thing (reasons to lengthy to post here) and when the old Viper went to production the ram air was blocked off.

					Could be. Worth trying though.

This past weekend I had GPS take me off trail quite a bit on unplowed or tracked road. I know for sure the front vent was completely blocked off by snow for probably 5mi or so. Never had a issue with hot engine compartment but I do have the bat wing vents/leg and crotch heaters!

Also even if the Frogskin portion of front is blocked by a intake tube some will still get through and then we all also have these vents

I was wondering about the same location for my turbo intake. I was thinking about making it out of PCV.
