Hey all,
Both my 2007 FX & GT have had the fan update done on them. Since the update the GT's indicator light has not come on. However, the FX's light does come on once in a while. On Saturday, we rode all day then with about 10 miles to go, the FX's light came on. With my son riding the FX and the wife riding the GT on the same trails and conditions, I'm puzzled as to why this is happening. Both fans do kick on, I'm wondering if the FX may have a defective switch that turns on the fan later than it should?
Any advise?

I have heard on this site that a fan was installed backwards, check front heat exchanger to see if it is encased in ice. Coolant system may have air. I have the MTN Lite with fan and have never overheated, ever.
