Correct belt (Apex/Attak)

Think I might have ordered the wrong belt for my '07 Attak. Accidentally ordered belt 8DN-17641-01-00, which appears to be for a Nytro. Correct Apex/Attak belt # is 8DN-17641-00-00. Will this belt work for my '07 Attak?

Maybe my eyes were in backwards....who knows.

you ordered the right belt 00 is the old number 01 is the new #

You have the right belt; the 8DN-17641-01-00 is the updated (new) version of the the 8DN-17641-00-00.

Any idea as to why the new part number? I have a new -00 I was thinking about using.

the -01 just means that they made a revision. i believe that the belt is now a fuzz wider at the top. i could be wrong.

Yes you are right they are made closer to tolerance.

Thanks for the quick responses. Was kicking myself thinking I ordered incorrectly. Was just worried, belt appeared alittle different. Had a Nytro on the package and not an Apex.....ehhhh. Thanks again.

If I'm not mistaken I think all yamies use the same belt(except maybe the phaser)

Changed from old belt to new belt & jumped up 2-3mpg used to mired at 12mpg. Took me a while to figure out what was different.
