Sorry that's just not true. They run valve stacks like any other shock.

Learn something new everyday, I was sure it was only air use for function...

The air is in place of the spring, they still use oil or the dampining. Any shock place that does Fox should be able to rebuild them, No real valve changes needed unless you are unhappy with the ride. Should be around $60-$100.

The book says they will have a little oil at first that is used as lube under the air bag..

there should be a little lube on the outside of the shock as well according to the book as a antfriction lube for when it sledes up and down. thats not the oil you see is it as i thought mine was leaking as well until i read the book lol.

I have 2800 miles on them so I don't think its break in oil anymore or lube of any type. Its dark so I assume I have a seal out. I will have rebuilt.
thanks

its not break in oil we are refering to as like he said its ant-fritcion lube which more of a film of oil. if it was leaking im guessing it would be all oily more them a film.Mercer5 said:I have 2800 miles on them so I don't think its break in oil anymore or lube of any type. I agree! Their prices are on the website. Kurt is real helpfull. They had good prices compared to Hygear, and There turnaround time is only 2-3 day right now. They are both good from what I hear. Just had good personal luck with Goodwin. They are in Zion IL.
