Coupler blocks

Why do you want to? They have weak torsion springs, the coupling blocks are the only thing saving them. If you want to just pull them out, and jack up the rear only of the skid. see how much room you have, once your rear arm is flat with the rails the scissor arm will start going back forward. So when the arm is parallel with the rails is the most rearward it will ever be. but you want to make sure your front arm is tight with the limiter strap and has not compressed at all.

I have an 09 Nytro 121, and I had mine out all last season with no problems. Except for always having the skis off the ground. I did what rlcofmn suggested and had about half an inch of clearance between wheels and arm.
