I have a CPR boost & egt gauge it will show ( --- alm ) any idea what this is?
it just started. it will show this when just cruising then on boost it will show boost presure and alm next to it ( 7 alm) it will also go up to max boost say 8 then read 6 on full throtle it seem's to have normal power even thou it shows this. Jeff has no idea what it is.

the 8 lbs of boost is a spike, it holds it at just under 7lbs at full throttle, normally we run between 7-7.5 lbs of boost. not sure what the alm is about, send it in and i can send it to the factory to have them chk it out. jeff

My EGT gauge will flash on and off when the temp reaches 1300. Stll does the temp reading though just flashes until the temp falls below 1300.
i noticed that too, the first guages didn't do that, they must have added an alarm the flashes if over 1300 on the newer guages. jeff

i,m glad to hear its working good for you, if probe is between engine and turbo it should be 14-1550 degrees, if probe is after turbo 12-1350 degrees. jeff

alm.........alarm
i thought about that, but why have such a low alarm, and not show boost at all??? maybe its saying the pressure transducer is bad??? jeff
