Black 1000 said:The Ohlins are very nice but not needed. Sway bar and links are very improtant. Skis can be puchased any where. I am having very good luck with BRP pilots with 6" shaper bars
But links are not needed on the 05 right?
Thats what Pioneer said....
It already has what is needed on the 05...
Just need the bar...

Sorry snowdog but your RX will never corner like
a SRX but your RX will run forever and on bad
trails you can still keep your teeth! your problem
sounds like its in your carbs, recheck everything
you took apart and cleaned. make sure all of your
needle spacers are the same and diaphragms have
no tears.

I did take a quick peek this morning before work and I think I might have a boot not all the way on from when I took them off.
Thanks

Snowdog, i know where your coming from about
the SRX and RX1. I have a 98 and a 04 and I wish
that 04 would turn and it took me a long time to
get used to the four stroke engine braking, I had to
force myself to stay on the trottle in corners instead
of snaping off snaping on like the SRX, but the RX
motor keeps me coming back. its like comparing
a scalpel to a meat cleaver, but the suspension is better on the meat cleaver. Just my 2 cents

Yeah they are completly different birds. After this last trip I really much rather ride the SRX. The trails were fantastic and riding the RX was so much more work thant the SRX. That's why it's for sale now. I do like the ride in the ruogh stuff but I really have been chosing my riding time, days and locaton more wisely so I could really care less about the suspension.
I'll try the Apex and see what I think, but I'm not liking the look of how tight it is under the hood. I like the RX because I can get to everything. Looks like the Apex is going to be a major PITA to work on!

It is. had to pull the headlight JUST to get to the
engine. but i did ride it and it has serious throttle
response! it will goooo! on the other hand, it didnt
turn a hole lot better than my RX, still wants to pull
inside ski. maybe the new NYTRO will fill the void.
havent rode one yetbut want to. maybe if I take the
RX engine stuff it into the SRX body, intall a M12
under it, wait a minute Im starting to think about
this way to much! THANKS ALOT
