Yep! had the same problem! That's why I now have always a spare muffler.
One more weld and you will be fine. Also, inspect the rest of the existing welds, I'm sure you will find some cracks.

numb question.... what is the conversion for kms to miles? I have 5400 on my apex and want to keep an eye on this.

I was hoping the new exhaust support on the 08 models would have fixed any cracking issues.

YES, I'm BONE stock...I don't even run studs, I ride GROOMED trails and lakes...a lot of high speed, i do everything by the book...except speed limits LOL!

Its exactly what I told my dealer this morning...if I had ABUSED my sled I wouldn't be B!cthing about it, there is no reason for this to happen...now I'm waiting to see what YAM have to say...don't forget I'm on the wrong side of the border for WARRANTY issues...will see my dealer is usually pretty good with these issues.

Guess I need to learn to weld so I can reweld my muffler twice a season.
Wish someone else made a muffler that was close to stock sound level, but maybe there is too much flex...

you would think for the weight of these exhausts some of it would be in tube thickness and weld.
