Cracked Rail

Had the sled (07 Attak GT), at the shop today for it's 2500 miles service and was told i had a cracked rail. The left side rail was cracked at the back where the rear suspension attaches to it. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so what do you think caused it? The crack started at the top of the rail and ran down to the bolt hole where the suspension attaches.

They usually crack where the inner idler reinforcement plates bolt to the rails (not the bolt that the idler mounts to, but the front bolt). One friend of mine also had a couple of bent rails once (his sled was missing the bump stops at the time).

I've never seen one crack at the back though.

Without the reinforcement plates they crack where the inner idlers mount, but the Apex comes with the reinforcements.

I have the same cracks at the rear portion of the rails on my 06 Nytro, wonder what caused it.
I'll try to see if its covered by warranty, if not , might be a good time to try a ZX2, those rails can't be cheap and if it happened once its bound to happen again.
