Crossover Nytro

Confused? said:
Let me know how those mounts hold up I go through hand guards pretty fast and starting to get to the point to pay 150 for rox flex techs and be done

I did have the same hand guard on my quad before and they were great, I never did break one. I hope that they will perform just as good on my sled. Time will tell.

I got my Excell X wheel yesterday; I will have to bring the Nytro in to install the block off plate and wheel. I am also looking at buying a new set of split rail ski. I am feed up of that heavy steering and daring issue. More to come.

Curve skis w/ leading edge..... half the price of split rails

I am looking at them also. I kick myself for not buying them instead of the C&A!

One local shop made me some graphic that looks like the factory one. Not bad at all!

Here is what my tunnel look likes after today ride. I will install the block off block off plate next week and post some pics of what it looks like.

I bought some Protaper handlebar hooks that comes on the Polaris sled. I will install them this weekend. My bar have no hooks as it is 31 inch flat bar. I did contact the guy from snow tracker and they are willing to make me a set of semi aggressive for my C&A. That would solve one of my problems (darting). But the heavy steering will persist. I love those skis off trail; they rail corners and do not push. But when I ride tight twisty hard pack trail, it becomes a serious work out to keep up to my friends. The guy from split rails told me that they float like doo 5.7 pilot skis I believe. I should have bought Curves XS from the beginning. I would not be facing those problems.

Did you have the chance to ride your sled this year?
I got 180 miles in so far. Love the track and length. Exhaust sounds great but still have ice build up. I also need to align my steering, forgot to do it after the relocate install so it looks like im turning left all the time. Very happy with my mods. even picked up a few mph.... was seeing 100 on the dream o meter, 97 was the highest i could get before

Here are the hooks!

We have a snow storm right now, I will be out riding tonight is the powder.

I have yamaheater on the way, so remove the hockey tape and install new white grip.

A contribution to those guys that make our sled what they should be from factory

I ended up working a night shift, so brought in the sled to do some mods done.

First, to finish the year, I cut the sway bar. This proves to be more difficult then I taught. At first, I tried with a power hank battery cutter. We cuts and spread car with that kit. No good, it only scratched the paint.

So I cut them with a heavy duty Dewalt jigsaw, 3 metal blades later, it work. One of my plans for this summer is to powder paint my rusty a arm, so I will remove the remaining of the sway bar.

Then I reinstall my ice scratsher directly on the a arm.

Then it was time to install the OFT block off plate.

I had to remove all the plastic, seat and finally the exhaust. The exhaust was stuck but it came out.

Then install the block off plate. Simply place it over top, drill couples of holes, insert rivets and Voila! The plate just fit perfect. It is simple. An other great product from OFT.

Then just put every thing back together

It should diminish ice and Snow built up. I hope so.

Then those days of cold hands should be done, Thanks Rock! Yamaheater to the rescue.

I install it on the left side.

Follow the step of the plug and play

Ground it

Drill a 5/16 hole and install LED

Test time, red and green light is on, Yes!

Bring on the cold.
