Crush washer

Was told to use a crush washer for the oil drain plug. Anyone else doing this and what you torquing it to thanks

I just use the stock oil drain plug gasket for a Toyota. Fits perfect, way better than the o-ring that rips out.

I have friends that need these. They struggle with factory orings.

Is this for the drain bolt in the footwell, or the drain bolt under the access panel near the oil filter?

There is a new rubber ring in the oil drain kit. The rubber ring on the plug should be changed out at every oil change.
