Hey guys was doing an oil change on the viper and when I pulled out the drain plug there is no washer or o-ring, do these sleds not have anything? The nytro had a washer but the viper just has the bolt, didn't see anything stuck to the bottom of the drain hole either. Wasn't sure if there sleds don't have a washer or did the dealer just forget to put it back on when they changed the oil last.

Supposed to be rubber o-ring on the bolt. Maybe it's stuck up inside the hole. I'd check there.

Oh really, ya I will have to check in the hole. If it's not there can I just use a rubber o ring that fits the bolt? Or will I have to order one from the dealer.

Dealer might stock them as they tell you to use a new one every time. Might be worth a phone call if you can't find yours. It's part three in the Yamaha oil tank parts diagram.

if you bought the Yamaha oil change kit(box with oil and filter from dealer) there is one that comes with the kit inside the paper funnel supplied in the kit.
